The Flight Deal listed a couple of good fares out of Newark yesterday to some tropical destinations. Both of these are under $300. Great way to get away.

Great fare to Cancun, Mexico, if you’re into that kind of thing. $287 round trip, including taxes, on AA/US, flying out of Newark.
Must book by tomorrow, 6/20, for travel by Jan 5.

This probably won’t last long, and I haven’t played with the various permutations. I’m also too lazy right now to fully investigate, but it looks like CheapOair isn’t applying the fuel surcharge. Fuel dumps FTW!
The lowest fare ITA Matrix is showing is $974.
The fuel surcharge is $516 of that price.
However, you can book this on CheapOair for $460.
Hope someone can take advantage!

This is a lukewarm deal (NYC-ANC would dip under $400 frequently last year), but I haven’t seen a good fare to Alaska in a while.
$420 round trip, all in, on Delta. I just checked and availability is wide open in September. Wide open as in available every single day from the 7th on.
